Billy Johnson pulled off some last-second heroics in Fontana on Sunday afternoon, piloting the FX Motorsports NSX to overall victory in the final Unlimited RWD session of the Redline Time Attack season finale after the car went through extensive repairs earlier in the day. With a stock gearbox and welded up header, the Acura laid down an incredible 1:36.103, just beating Paul Gerrard’s time of 1:36.230 in the AMS Performance NOS Energy Drink Evo X.
