Day 1: SEMA is at full song and we are stalking the aisles in search the trickest parts to debut here in Sin City. The New Products Section has gone high-tech with journalists using key fob-sized scanners to zap the barcodes of interesting products. The scanner is turned in to SEMA staffers, the product description and photo link of the selected items are downloaded and then e-mailed to our account where we can catch up with it and pull out the best of the best.

For Day One we have a cross section of accessories, gadgets and hard parts that run the gamut from complex to DIY simple. There is more to come from the New Products corral and elsewhere at the show from companies that keep their prototypes and innovative new designs under wraps. So there should be more variety and more hardcore stuff to come tomorrow. Stay tuned.
