The Super Lap Battle finals are coming up the week after the SEMA Show, and some are using the coinciding events to maximize exposure for their projects, like Tomei Powered. The JDM tuners have shipped over its time attack Impreza for SLB, set for November 12 at Buttonwillow Raceway Park near Bakersfield, Calif., and while the car is here it'll be making an appearance at the aftermarket trade extravaganza in Las Vegas.
The resume for the Subie is impressive, to say the least. Tomei handled building the engine, Cusco the chassis and suspension work, and Voltex the aerodynamics. Japanese drifting ace Tarzan Yamada will be piloting the Subaru at Buttonwillow.
Industry people can check out the Tomei Cusco Impreza at SEMA in the Cusco booth (#2469), while everyone else can see the car in the Super Lap Battle final at Buttonwillow. The Subaru will also be displayed at the Performance Racing Industry (PRI) show in the Tomei Cusco booth (#811), December 11-13.
